Hey everyone!
So with summer around the corner I was looking to get some advice of how to get my car road worthy again. Hope y'all are staying safe in these troubled times.

Sorry the photos I have aren't the best! But I have a 1970 Road Runner that is manual with pistol grip for a 383 small block.

That would be a 383 Big Block. ... Anyhow for road trips if its a points car carry an extra set. If its an electronic ignition conversion bring an extra ignition box and an extra ballast resistor. I will be bringing an extra coil too when my pile of parts hits the road. Check all of your steering components and brakes.. Just typical stuff you would check on a newer car.

Welcome from Alabama. Nice 70RR. We don't know how long it's been sitting and that would help on the advice. I see the front side marker missing, but that won't prevent you from driving it.

Welcome from Missouri!! My tires look brand new, but are 13 years old. Check yours before you head out to far.

Just made my night! Thank you for correcting me, I thought the cut off was 400 guess I was wrong. Definitively will look into getting another point for emergency fixes so I don't get stranded thank you for the great idea.

It has been sitting in the garage for about 7 years, the most love it received was seeing the driveway during family events. The side markers were the first thing I noticed, I tried to replace them and that's what brought me to FBBO. After I got the new ones in, they didn't work, so I took to the forums to find out most likely one of the ground wires are dead.
