I saw Warren in concert in the early eighties. At the time I didn’t know anything about him but he was freakin great! Was extremely saddened by his passing. His autobiography is a great read if you can find it.
I still listen to his stuff. Generally well written and witty.

Saw him three times.... all great, memorable shows. Still on my list to pick up his last album.

Cigs got Warren. That should have been a wake up call for Eddie.
Yes it should have but at this point there’s enough info out there on cigs that it should have been a wake up for everyone who smokes! But yet they still do it! The power of addiction!

I never heard of Warren for quite awhile. When I did, it was still many years before his passing. It was a completely different type of music than what I was listening to at the time but I quickly learned to appreciate his music! Never had the opportunity to see him live.

I was a fan, and my friends and I saw him live in Akron, had to be in the late 80's.

I thought I was the only one who knew the song "Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner", but that whole crowd sang along!

That was the song that introduced me to Warren!

RIP. Had no idea he passed away. Till now.

He was one of the best, very talented, very raw., but i think my favorite is....

Where have you been hiding for the last 17 years? WOW

Good question. Where I live. They have a knack for maybe saying something on the radio once. Then its swept under the rug. I didnt know. I guess I have to pay more attention. :)

Goddam cigarettes. They’re good though. Still miss em. Quit in 1984. Camel Filters. Loved em.

Wow, what happened with the color?

17 years. That made me pause. I would have guessed half that.
