For sale 1969 383 new old stock I would call it. In original crate box. Not sure what it’s worth, never been out of the box. I have some pics inside I can send if interested. ( pics not on my phone )
What do you think it worth.

The better question is how has it been stored, and does it turn? 11/26/69 is a long time for absolutely no care. It's a wide range on what it's worth. Just my opinion, others may see it differently.

Jan 69 or November? F383 is for 1970, so I suspect November is correct and that 1 9 HP should be 11 9 HP.

As Jerry states.. how was it stored, is it free turning? Wish it was an 11/69 x 440 HP !! :)

Condition is everything here. 440'

Would like to see photos of the engine and like already asked....does it turn...

Very cool find!!
Worst pictures, ever!

I have not turned it. It belongs to a friend of mine who wants to see it. If someone is seriously interested I can get it out and look it over better. Thanks

The manifold has no paint on it yet no freeze plugs and the bolts on the water pump housing are shiny.
These things don't add up?

As I suggested it's a 70 engine and it's been around the block at least once already. It certainly isn't NOS... bet there's a VIN number stamped on that pad...

I'm looking for a 383 in good condition, where are you located?

north east PA. I will have to look at it myself to see the condition. It doesn’t look as good as it was described to me. I was posting for a friend who said it was never run but it looks used to me.

maybe he meant it was never run after it went into that box.

I agree with dadsbee in that there might be a VIN stamped on the machined pad on the oil pan rail. If it has a VIN it is a used and probably rebuilt engine. Thanks for posting.

if the freeze plugs are laying in the bottom of the crate it might be worth?less

I maybe interested in it.......def assume its not NOS. Is there a desired price yet??
