Have some cheese but no trap. Doberman saw me with broom in hand and refused to come inside to help me catch it (previous owner must have scared her with a broom).Watching videos on youtube trying to find a way to catch the mouse without a trap. Would prefer to catch it without leaving the house so I know it did not run off and hide elsewhere.

If you see one, there are more...

There's never just one!!!!
I saw one once then noticed him the next day he was huge then later he was small . Then finally I sat in garage with lights off for awhile with food on floor !
There was atleast 12 of em !
I finally got the tom cat from next door to come in my garage by feeding him he killed them all !

Get the trap pictured below and goop a blob of peanut butter on a couple of the traps. Works better than anything I've tried and you know you got them. I say "them" because there's almost always more than one. Reload the traps if necessary and keep the traps out for a few weeks after you think you've caught the last one.

Peanut butter way better than cheese, and put it on the underside of the bait holder....or......

So, let's just shoot the **** out of the Refrigerator as well as the rest of the kitchen, that's a extremely intelligent answer coming from a Ignoramous!!

Thought this was gonna be a George Lopez bit about Disneyland!!

Uh you know rat shot is little plastic bb's that couldn't hurt a fridge or even dry wall ! A bb gun will do more damage

sticky traps work like a charm
The local exterminator uses those here all the time and to date, 20+ years later, I have never seen
them catch a single mouse here.
Know what did? Me, sometimes bare-handed - and those cheap Victor mousetraps.

Went across the street to the Mom & Pop store and purchased two large sticky traps (that's all they offered). Set them out in the morning and waited a couple of hours--nothing. Tried to scare the critter out from under the fridge-no movements, no noise--did he/she escape during the 5 minutes I left for the store?

Then at 6:39 PM I heard some scratching around-got 'em! Now I can sleep in peace tonight.
