Not 100% legal by the NHRA rulebook but the chassis shop that does them has never had an issue and none of the 5 tracks that have teched it have said anything. It makes it a little easier to get in and out of too!

The only thing they have pointed out is it needs some type of head support since it's a low back bucket seat. Going to whip something up this winter.
 
I have been looking at Mickey Thompson S/R radials for the rear 28x12x15. They only offer 8 inch wide in 27 inch for the front. I think that’s a tad skinny for me. Been toying with the 28x12x15 on back with Sportsman S/T 225-70/15 on front. Not sure about 2 different tread patterns. What do you guys think? I’m sure there are some guys doing that.
I'm running two different tread patterns. I have Nitto drag radial in the rear and a summer radial up front.
