The was no such car as a Sport Satellite in 1967. That name started in 1968 and ran for 3 model years to 1970.

Satellite was a 2 door car with bucket seats for 1965 to 1967.

Is someone disputing this?

Not me. I have a friend that had a 67 Satellite and he always refers to it as a Satellite Sport and will do his best to say it's not so, when I say there wasn't one. One day I handed him the 67 dealer brochure and asked him to show me the difference and where the Sport came in. After studying it for 10-15 minutes, it hasn't been mentioned again, at least around me.

Could be a 1 of 0 lol

Basically, a Sport Satellite ( 1968-1970 ) was a GTX without the 440. Had one back then.

Don't forget the speedo to what? To the car? EVERY car has one, right?

and the VIN, badges, interior treatment....... probably more accurate to say a Sport Satellite shares the GTX grille and be done with it... just saying. Not hating on them at all, in fact I have one in my shop but to say its a GTX without the 440 is a stretch. It stands alone as its own model and is a great car. In other words "don't church it up son"... lol

Can't tell you how many times I have had people come up to me at car shows and tell me that they or someone they knew had a 67 Sport Satellite. I used to tell them there was no such thing in 1967, but most would insist it was true so anymore I just ignore it.
