Make a pair for me while you're at it! Someone was re-popping the GTX dash woodgrain for
a while, but not sure about now. If you do find them, please post it here! Thanks!
The backs are ribbed and there are no part numbers.what is the part number on the back of each piece?
called a friend with a 68 GTX, he got it restored a few years back, 68 lower dash trim pieces with smooth finish one year only, no reproductions being made at least when he did his car. He said it took the shop over 1 year to find NOS pieces (a lot of $$$), there like hen's teeth he said, Good luck!!!

Is your car an early model, made in the last months of '68?
A detail that this photo shows that wasn't apparent in the other photos, the ribs are visible through the transparent outer layer...I'd be down for a nice repro set. I was lucky enough to track down a driver side with a crack through the screw hole. 69 GTX, November 68 build date.View attachment 1511676
When comparing pictures, the ribbed ones seem to have chrome edges that are a bit more narrow.Yeah, they are smoothe on top and ribbed on the underside. Painted from the backside too. That vacuum chome has me stumped. Can't do that myself.
