One of the case bolts that bolt the 2 halves together snapped off I was able to get the broken part out easy. So Im looking for 1 or 2 left handed thread case bolts. I dont want to buy a whole set for 65.00 from Dr.Diff. I just need 1 really. Let me know if you have one. That is all I lack to getting the Roadrunner back on the street. Looks like the one below.

You may want to check some of the online bolt suppliers. Cant tell by the pic but bet you can find that easy.

I have found ARP bolts but I just cant bring myself to buy a set for just one. I mean I guess at that point I would swap them all. But didnt want to have to do that.

I would not for just one bolt figure out what size and grade. Heck I go to my ace hardware store and get up to grade 8 easy.

I think there are three bolt specialty places within twenty miles of my house that might have that. Might be time to try the atlanta yellow pages.
(If i had one, i would send it. My friend who ran a one-man rearend shop probably had a bunch, but he passed).

I've looked at fastenal which is close by they have it but its not the correct length. 1/2 inch too short. I found some on the web but the same thing. Some I have found are the correct length but don't say anything about LH thread. Sooo I got my feelers out local mopar guy too.. Just waiting to see what comes up.

I would tend to agree. However this is a Left hand threaded bolt. Pretty sure its not something you will find in the common bolt bin at the local hardware store.

Looks like they are all badly stretched so Im just going to buy a set thanks just the same. apparently someone in the past used a impact on them and they are hour glass shaped near the top of the threads. So I just ordered the set.

Good decision. Hope you get em in less than a month.

Sorry but I don't have those in my stash...cr8crshr/Bill:usflag::usflag::usflag:
No problem thanks for looking. I also replaced the cap bolts too. Those were hourglass shaped as well. So in the future guys.

DON'T USE AN IMPACT ON SUREGRIP BOLTS. I didn't do this but it was done prior to me getting the suregrip. Anyhow once its all done should be good to go. I purchased them from DrDiff the last thing I purchased from Cass came pretty quick. So I hope these are here pretty fast so I can get it back on all four feet.

Geez and Petes! What kind of high torque nasty impact was being used on it!! Torque wrench is the ONLY way to go when building up stuff like this. I know I've had some of these in the past but would have to look. I inspect this stuff before saving them to make sure they haven't been stretched so if it looks like it's going to be on back order, send me a PM and I'll search the tomb of my parts room.

I just ordered a set from DrDiff for the case halfs. I had 4 new bolts for the caps. So I think all is well. I am replacing every one of them. The case is in good shape as are the threads. I wish I knew the Impact used but it basically stretched them so bad they looked like an hour glass. Ill take a profile picture of the stretched bolts. Crazy.

I wish I knew what kind of impact because it would be bad *** for breaking lugs loose.. lol
