Climate change?

Tried to grille some burgers today and a nasty wind and rain storm blew in......dayam.....but got the burgers done after moving my smoking 'Old Smokey' into the back of my beater Dakota and moving the thing as far forward as I could towards the back overhead door as I could! The rain was blowing in about 12 or so feet under my carport so things were getting wet under there. I believe in climate change but not so much that humans are causing it. And if anyone said something political about all of this, please turn yourself in as I didn't read every single post to see if one of the Henchmen can do something about it!!

So, lead by example. Ditch your classic car. Ditch ALL your ICE vehicles. Stop using grid electric, put solar in and only use it. Don't use batteries to store energy overnight because the rare materials are toxic (and the strip mining used to acquire them is horrible for mother earth). Stop buying electronics. No more computers, TVs, Kindles, or stereos - all of them are made from "detrimental" materials and harm the climate. Don't fly anywhere. Travel by horse or mule. Or on foot. Cook over an open wood fire. If you're so sure all this is ruining the planet...lead by example.

WE DONT NEED TO GO TOTAL ELECTRIC. Classic car and motor sports is such a small drop in the bucket. It mass transportation. And mass electricity generation. Again. I will not understand how some believe it's "All or nothing?" All in is impossible.

My next car will be electric. Just on the curiosity front alone. Let alone "Leading by example."

And NASA is not even close to a big polluting source. The VAST majority of their rocket smoke is steam. From burning hydrogen/oxygen.

But there is heat and smoke which does end up in the atmosphere.

Talk about greenhouse gasses, I just put some beans with bacon and onions on the stove. A couple cheesy sausages on the grill and I will be set. A couple good shots of bourbon to get the system working and I will be set.

That's is a head scratcher. One would think the alcohol evaporation would actually cool the ice? Umm. Does the Crown folks know about this?

I have done my part to save the planet. Being that I am a super smart person like some of my FBBO brothers.... I have invented the electri airplane. Sorta of an electric jet, just slower than the usual ones. I got the idea at MickyD's and scribeled the idea down on a napkin!!!

On a more serious note....we all can do 'our' part but man, how many will come together (Beetles Song) and do our part. Even if everyone did what 'our part is' (whatever that is), the earth is going to do what the earth does. JMO.....

Yes. Even if one is in total disagreement with climate change? It's undeniable that reducing pollution on all fronts is a worthwhile effort. Some simple changes can make big differences.

It just dilutes the alcohol. Same as the distilleried diluting barrel strength from 130+ proof down to 80. 2 things, they do a lot of tasting to see how far they can go and still have a good flavor while thinking how much extra spirits they can bottle with the same amount of raw materials. LOL I am not a fan of ice in my spirits (unless it's a mixed drink) If it's not good enough to drink neat it's not good enough!
