"Most people" don't realize Ted Nugent isn't just a good guitar player.
He is an exceptional one.
Word has it that he did that guitar work on Strangle Hold in one take.
I had one opportunity to see him at a club 1974.
"Richard's"
But my prom date was a sophomore and we couldn't get in.
And he will never get into that Joke Club which is the Hall of Fame.

I saw Ted in June of 1980 - the Scream Dream tour. He wore a loin cloth and opened by jumping off the stacks on the right side of the stage holding a rope and swinging across the stage.
The two bands that led off the concert, whom we had never heard of at that point, were Def Leppard and the Scorpions.
