While at the kitchen sink I noticed the driveway was wet. First thought was I left the water on outside but after looking around, everything was off. Then started looking at the the edge of the slab for water coming out of the wall. Plumbing for the kitchen and wash room is in that wall. Looked good and dry and nothing wet inside the house either. Noticed flow coming from under the trailer and well, there isn't any water in that. Figured it was coming from the neighbor's house so gave him a call and yup, she left the water running after watering her plants etc on their patio. Nice to get that area watered for free as it was getting kinda dry. :D

Lol, it's nice when a problem you're afraid is yours...is someone else's...excluding condolences for them. But, fear not, a problem that is YOURS will show up eventually.

Oh yeah. I've left my water on before but it's been years since doing that. Used to own the land that my neighbor's house is on and when I first bought it, I planted a bunch of trees on it. Wasn't long after we got into a drought so I was watering them and forgot to turn off the water a couple of times over night during that drought. $100 dollar water bill 25 years ago wasn't exactly cheap....

When I lived in CA. the neighbor behind me left the water on and it flooded my backyard, their property sat higher than mine at the time. They were forgetful old farts.
On another note, my big 3 car garage that has the sink in it that isn't hooked up. I was using the outside faucet to flush the cooling system, I had one of those on/off things at the other end of the hose. Using water as needed and off when not so the hose was pressurized, I walk into the garage and theirs water everywhere coming from somewhere in that faucet corner of the garage, **** was the first word to be said! I cleaned up the water and looked for the source of the leak, never to be found.
NOTE to myself: Don't leave that faucet on and pressurized like I did for any length of time from this day forward until leak is found!!
