We are thinking of selling this 69 charger. B5 blue. White hat special 383 2 barrel. Runs and drives. Has some 1/4 rust. A couple spots in fenders and trunk floor. Very solid otherwise. Has been sitting since the 80s. Car had some bad rust repair done to it in early 80s and needs fixed correctly. We put a new tank and sending unit in it and have put a couple hundred miles on it since with not much issues. Drives pretty decent. Needs seat covers pretty bad. Door panels are decent but have speaker holes. Nice dash. Pretty straight body that has never been in any major accident. Grille is very nice other than center trim. Headlight doors work great. Trying to figure a fair value without sounding ridiculous or giving it away. Thanks

That's a lot of rust.....but being a Charger....that becomes invisible to those who desperately want one.

I'll chuck in my 2 cents worth...... $18K

Roger nailed it. Maybe as high as $23k. Depending on how much rust.

Can you post pictures of the fender tag and do you have the broadcast sheet?

To me, it isn't worth more than 10K because of all the rust. But, I would never be able to buy it for that just because it is a second gen Charger. Someone will surely give you 20K for it. That will be a sharp looking car when done.

In the current market that car will easily bring 25k. I am not saying it is worth 25k,but it will easily bring it. Put it on E Bay with a 20k reserve and you will be surprised by how much it will bring!

Rust is mostly in lowered 1/4s and a little bit around the front fenders. Very nice floors and frame rails. Trunk floor is soft with one small rust area. Drivers side front fender is the worst. Has a rust area over tire by the fender brace. Fender is saveable but will take time. I don't have a fender tag picture but will get one. I have never looked for the build sheet but I am sure it's probably there. I bet the back seat has never been out of the car. Thanks for the info.

Take the car to the car wash.. Jack it up... Pressure wash the bottom of the car.... If it's as solid as you think it is making it so potential buyers can see that for themselves will increase the value substantially... If thats just dirt great, but it makes the bottom look like it's rusty..

It appears to be more solid than the ones I am used to seeing here in New England. It appears to need quarters, trunk floor and trunk extensions. All that is typical on second generation Chargers.

someone will over pay, take it apart, buy a bunch 0f parts, and sell it all at a loss after they realize they are in way over their head

Gen 2 Chargers do bring crazy $$$, even money pit projects

383 2bbl auto column shift, not very well optioned
$20k (?) even

Maybe even the low $30's from what I have seen. I'm just glad I have no desire for a Charger
I’m shocked at the reserve not met auctions on EBay. Cars that need everything but have frame rails, ending at $25k. This looks like a good start. And it’s a ‘69... for yet another GL clone. :p
