Nasa photo of the month for March from the James Webb telescope: An Einstein Ring. The immense gravity lens from the galaxy in the center of the picture has magnified a much further galaxy to look like it has enveloped the one in front.

Holy Crap! You've got about $2,000 worth of Rosette Rivets there!
I remember going to the Mopar Nationals in the mid-'80's, and a vendor there had a wooden nail keg full of those. $1.00 apiece.
I'm working on my next project and needed pop rivets. I found these that I forgot about. Everything has a story.
I had pop rivets in all sizes, shapes, in stainless, steel or aluminum, by the hundreds in each. At one point I had thousands of these. They came in for scheduling and where locked up in an in plant office next to their work station where they were installed. I had a key to every door in the plant. Whatever Screw, bolt or anything I needed that I couldn't "Scrounge up", I ordered. These were the perfect size, till I was told they were sacred. Ok, my bad........

Just imagine closing two car plants and EVERYTHING has to go and I'm one of the last men standing, now you know what I had. Albrecht Construction was buying EVERYTHING on the property by the pound. I told the plant manager that was f**ked up. Who buys a few dozens car hoists by the pound. I was told I could give them away, man did that piss the people from Albrecht off, they were standing in line to rape us. This was our home, you get what we don't want, f**k you!! I gave the rest away when I downsized. When I downsized I invited everyone I knew and they brought friends. I don't sell what was given to me, I gave it all away................................. Now my brother, if he could figure out how to get a fart in a bottle, he'd sell it. He just shakes his head at me and will never understand who I am. "Nothing material really matters to me".....

I made him bring back my Hilti rotary hammer we used at the farm yesterday, needed for another project I'm working on next. It has several of every size bit, from 1/4 inch to one inch. His first comment was, do you know what one of those one inch bit costs!! No he didn't buy one, mine were just fine. I love him and we are very much alike, but my God that man is cheap.................. I think he sleeps with his money.
