They have a few good looking small block street cams I see. Thanks for the tip.Check out Howards Cams. They have a selection called "Max Certified" in the cam/lifter packages. They run them through an additional cerification process to ensure the QC of the items. This line of units gets a 5 year, no questions asked warranty. I'd been looking at one of their other units for the 440 I'm putting together for my 67 wagon. When I saw and verified that the unit I was wanting, Torque Monster, was in this selection too, I ordered it. Have not run it yet in case anyone asks. Next year sometime. Check them out.
factory converter? or are you running a higher stallAnother bump for the 6401, put one in my 440 Roadrunner and pretty happy with it.
It is pretty duration heavy. 298/303. Fair idle 2-5500 range. 2000 rom converter and gearing recommended.factory converter? or are you running a higher stall
I have 3.73 in my duster right now but i was planning on swapping to something more like 3.23 for the 440 since its just gonna burn the tires off with 3.73 anywaySummit 6400 is a good mild cam.

I'm using the 6401 which requires a little heavier spring rate. They suggest a 2k stall converter and a low gear but im not and it preforms well. Great cam for the street.
