The Toyotas are legendary of course. But the 32k sounds suspect.Exactly. This is what made them famous.
It says in that article it comes with a 360 degree camera, I am hoping that is in the high end trim though.I seriously doubt it has all that stuff but I could be wrong. If you want all that you need to get a Tacoma.
Well that stinks. I wonder if the CPU's would go haywire if I capped off the wires to the camera....Backup cameras are required by law in the U.S. for all new vehicles manufactured after May 1, 2018, under Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 111, to reduce backover accidents; this mandate applies to vehicles under 10,000 lbs and covers new car sales, not older vehicles, though retrofitting is encouraged for safety.
A piece of tape will do the trickWell that stinks. I wonder if the CPU's would go haywire if I capped off the wires to the camera....
I had 2 Taco’s.
It would probably indicate a permanent obstruction and have an annoying voice alarm.Wouldn't be surprised if tape or cutting wires disabled the vehicle.

8000 lbsIf that Hilux diesel can tow my little car trailer with a car on it, I might consider it.
Current price for a Ram or Chevy/Gmc diesel equivalent to my current Duramax is $90k plus. NOT happening.
8000 lbs
