Enjoying a nice drive to Galveston TX with my wife in her 72 Mach 1 and my 68 Roadrunner. Great weather today! Stopped to eat lunch on the strand at a place called Maceo Spice Co., so good! Saw this old school Mopar drag car in a picture frame on a shelf, had to take a pic, the driver owner says...

Almost ready for track time...new batteries installed...volt meter...new rear taillights and a drive around the block...felt and sounded great! Just added a video pulling back into my driveway after the drive.

1965 Coronet 500. Just purchased. No run time yet. Needs a few touch ups before I take it out.

Any one have a set for sale that are in decent shape, no cracks or breaks in the lens? Looking for the whole assembly if possible, tried a few other places but they're all on back order. Thanks

Engine is back together, machine shop said bad exhaust valve seats on both heads caused the bent pushrods, new hardened exhaust seats were installed, new guides, springs and valves. Went back with stock exhaust manifolds instead of headers, car feels a lot better now and sounds great! It always...

Thanks for the information. I didn't do any of the previous engine work, only thing I've had done is new plugs, wires and we installed new headers. It was running ok but it always felt like there was a miss, always had good oil pressure and no valve train noise. The day it happened we went out...

I'm hoping they can figure out if it was a valve train issue from the heads, I'm no expert and I don't plan on pulling the engine and tearing it down. The only failed pieces that I could detect with a visual was 2 bent pushrods and 3 pushrods just there, not touching the rocker arm, one was off...

Hopefully when I get the heads back from the machine shop I'll know what caused the issue. I'll post back here when I get the heads back.

Thanks for the replies, the pic Don Frelier posted shows them touching the rocker arms. They do have the spacers between each rocker arm, some of the rocker arm tip wear patterns are a little off, not centered. Going to buy a new set from 440 source, have my heads at the machine shop after I...

Should the shaft hold down brackets be touching the rocker arms? Some are and some aren’t on my set up.
