In watching recent NHRA events ( youtube ) I see older engines in later model cars. Example: 64 cross-ram in a 67 belvedere. Cheby 283 in an 81 Camaro. The window designations appear like SS/AM or similar. Is this an original advertised HP with the later model weight ?

Is anyone still making fiberglass front & rear bumpers for a '65 Belvedere ? Appears AAR in Titusville has closed and the Sled City site seems off the internet as well. Thanks in advance for any help. Ted
In the process of a refresh / rebuild of a '70 440 that will return to a '65 Belvedere. Right now it has '906 heads, running a Mopar Purple cam, E-Performer intake, 750cfm Brawler, MDS ignition, 727 a/t with new convertor being built by Turbo Action.
Given the option of any supplier presently...
The '70 440 has been pulled out of my 65 Belvedere for a Fall 2021 refresh/rebuild. The motor mounts look like they've seen better days and since everything is apart ... good time for replacement.
