Next question, I can't seem to get a clear answer on what oil pan I need for my 440 that will clear my 70 Charger small block k member. Can anyone confirm what u need ? Thanks alot. That thread I read said the 971, in talking with Wes at Mancini, he said that would not work.
That's not the one I was speaking of but yes it worked great. Thank you, looks like I need a number 971 oil pan for the motor. Any idea where to get one of those?
So, to clarify, if I am installing a 440 into a factory 1970 318 B Body charger, leaving existing Small block K member in place ,I need to put the #971 oil pan on my motor in order for it to fitbavoudingbthe k member and steering linkage?
