I have a 68 GTX 440. I just removed the valve covers for the first time and noticed the rockers have a stamp on them of either +32 or +34 is this done by the builder or the factory? I have two on the left bank at +32 and 6 at +34. The stamp is on the interior of the cup opposite the push rod...
Thanks for the wall lol. Lots of good pointers. I have played with the timing and set it at about 12 degrees and 38 total I believe it has been a while. I just checked the block casting and it is 36988304 which is 72 to 78 RB big block. I am thinking of starting with probably a manifold and a...

Qa1 changed the geometry by 3 degrees. So you would have to change the uppers also. Even their literature says to use their uppers if changing the lowers. Both upper and lower need to be offset by 3 degrees. Stock uppers are not.
I am sure this has been asked many times but here it goes. I would like to purchase a new or rebuilt set of lower control arms. I have already replaced the uppers last year. So buying a set of QA1's is not an option. As I would have to replace the new uppers also. I am aware of the rebuild kits...
I have owned the car for about three years now. She was a mess when I got her she had little drive ability when I got her, enough to get it home. Engine was strong tranny was strong and body was in good shape. Other than that all the brakes were shot so everything was replaced. Had a tail...
