I frankenstiened this up a few years back for a rat rod project that never came to flower.. I took a A body V8 case. used the 6 cyl original tail shaft. and whalla. stuff that BIGGER THAN 318!!! power plant into that 62-65 B body/truck/van/motor home even and keep the push button shift...
I got this by mistake when I purchased a 68 727 core to rebuild.. 30.00 will make it yours.. I'm sure it will ship.. at your expense though.... or i'll trade it for a drive shaft for a mid to late 60s B body.
I just measured the throw on my old mechanism. it went about 3/4 inch. and I could stop the movement with very little resistance. best option is to find a console and make the hurst look nice.

you can shave some time off by removing all that undercoating ya know. weighs a few hundred pound all together and the first ride without it is like dropping your in-laws off. ROOMAZOOMZOOM. SEE YA'S it's as old as the car and no doubt not doing all it should for ya...
