    Cold Case 26" Radiator

All our 26" radiators accept the factory fan shroud but require new holes drilled. It would be very difficult to use a clutch and fan with a big radiator in your Dart. You should have plenty of clearance available on your B body though.

26" Shroud and aluminium Rad - gap

This happens with almost all plastic shrouds regardless of radiator. The shrouds just aren't that precise. Plugging those little gaps around the shroud can make a BIG difference. 5 degrees! Using a thicker piece of foam weather strip so it's super tight when the shroud is...

    Griffin radiator

Not a lot of people talk about them anymore but Griffin still makes a very good radiator.

Cold Case vs. AutoCityClassic (the 'ebay' radiator) Compare-O

This is an excellent side by side review. We will look into the things you didn't like about this radiator. We're always looking to improve. As far as the 'looks like an original' When we first came out with our units, almost nobody had stamped tanks. So at the time, our...

    Rad to shroud clearance

The gap is normal but if you seal the gap all the way around the shroud, you'll eliminate pulling some of that really hot engine compartment air instead of 100% coming from much cooler air that's in front of the radiator. So you'll get more air through the radiator and you'll get more cooler...

    Cooling Considerations

I generally have no issue with Wizard cooling products but that 4 fan setup with no shroud is not my favorite. I'm sure it will get the job done but that has to be getting pretty darn expensive. I also generally like the Glen Ray restoration OEM quality rads but for this motor, it's a...

68 RR 383 Still Getting Hot

First of all, that engine bay if fantastic. Wow. Well done! Did I miss it or do you not have the results of the new Cold Case combination. It should be significantly better than the old 22" unit regardless of whether you run the dual electric fans or a mechanical fan and clutch.

    Less Common Radiator Options

The original shrouds had these very unique clips that were used. For our radiator, you just use regular sheet metal or nuts and bolts.

That sure looks like our MOP750A except we don't have that top LH tank plug in ours. I wonder when that was used? 66-74 A,B,C, E Body 17x26 Auto Aluminum Performance Radiator | Cold Case Aluminum Performance Radiators (coldcaseradiators.com) I can't promise the top mounting holes are going...

LA to RB swap, looking for recommendations on radiators

2 row is definitely better than their 3 row unit but it's still only dual 1". You already have a radiator that's the same as that. I'd just keep what you have and try it. If it doesn't get the job done, then you know you need to think outside your current setup for something with more...

LA to RB swap, looking for recommendations on radiators

LH WP exit is critical. If it's a downflow and both inlet and outlet are on the same side, that's very inefficient. That's why all major car makers abandon this design around 1967-1968 at the latest. If the frostbite you saw is a crossflow, that would be a better design but then it's not...

LA to RB swap, looking for recommendations on radiators

To my knowledge, Dodge never made a 26" radiator with the inlet and outlet both on the driver side. When they designed the 26" radiator, they made the inlet and outlet opposite sides for maximum cooling efficiency. (The flow of water down and to the opposite side is much more efficient...

LA to RB swap, looking for recommendations on radiators

Good news is you have a 26" radiator support. So that makes your swap pretty simple fitment wise and pretty high probability of having plenty of cooling potential. Are you going to run a pulley system on the new motor or original pulleys and mechanical water pump?

I do a lot of speed reading on these forums! Anyway, I didn't see anywhere where he stated the width of the radiator pictured. Also, to be extra safe, we're communicating the details via PM's and our staff since just dealing with me could get you all in a lot of trouble. lol! As far...
