Here are some pics of it. I had to pull the distributor, ac compressor, etc off to hook up to the engine hoist, so pics of them laying on bench.
Here are pics of it from before and during pulling from car that show Sanden, brackets, etc...
I have a brand new power brake setup I bought from the ram man last year. It is a factory correct hemi set up and has never been used. He sells them for $1900+. I will take $1000 for the whole assembly.
that setup for sale is mine. It is an old pic before I did the sanden swap. I do need to take some current pics and post. I have it listed on here too for sale.
I have a nearly complete engine, trans swap setup. I pulled the setup complete out of the bottom of my 70 Satty for a hemi conversion last year. It is a 72 date code 440 with a decent cam. The whole thing is still attached to the k-member. Has a sanden ac compressor and brackets, holley...
I took my Satty for the first real drive since the drivetrain swap, maybe about 20 miles. Ran and drove nice. Trying to get the engine broken in before taking it to the Turkey Run. Here is a pic of her the day I took her to then alignment shop.
Rusty, I respect your opinion and was not taking issue. Of course you have to ground the engine to the body just like the factory did and I consider that as a given. I was just stating the factory ran a large negative cable from the battery to the block in addition to the engine to body and...
my 2 cents. If grounding to the unibody is sufficient, why did Detriot spend the extra money to ground to the engine? if you buy a trunk mount kit from a reputable wiring company like Ron Francis, it comes with 1 guage positive and negative cables to run all the way to the engine as well as a...
I managed to break my heater/ AC switch while rewiring my car. The white plastic back broke off. Does anyone know a source that rebuilds these? I have looked high and low for a new replacement. Megaparts has a listing but no stock. It is a 70 factory ac car with all slide controls. Any...
I got the brakes plumbed in and bled and I have good pedal, but like a dummy I have the lines crossed and the big reservoir is feeding the rear brakes! I should have looked at the old master cylinder first and then I would have seen the mopar large reservoir is in the rear! Now I get to bend...
Well, I went with the 1" bore master cylinder and finished the install yesterday. Here is a pic. Certainly looks cleaner than the factory unit. Hopefully get to drive it late next week and see how it stops. Thanks for all the input everyone.
I had same problem and same concerns about nut on inside. I installed a "nutsert". It is basically a rivet type device that is threaded on the inside. I think used one for 1/4-20 machine screws. Just google 'nutserts'. It takes a special tool to install them, but maybe a local body shop...
