Doing my own research (some of them old posts and not sure if they are in the game anymore) are; Bullet- Tim Goolsby? Jones Cam Engle Dwayne porter Schneider racing cams Hughes I'm sure they are good with carb motors but not sure of their experience with modern EFI cam profiles

    EFI camshaft custom grinds

Looking to see if anyone has had any experience with custom cam grinds for a 505 stroker? Or possibly off the shelf? I'm looking for as much torque in the low end that I can get for cruising speeds (1500-2300 rpm) it's a restomod that I drive alot (power tours, and a up and coming route 66 trip)...

    Engine dies sometimes

Depending on your coil position, make sure you get the right one. Factory location put the coil laying down and oil filled coils are meant to stand up. If its laying down I recommend an epoxy filled coil.

Is it possible to build a big block for great performance and good economy?

I've got a 68 coronet that has a 505 with a t56 6spd, 3:23 gears with efi. I can cruise at 75 mph at around 2200 rpm. Has about 600 hp, hauls *** and got 18 around mpg when I drove it from Erie Pa to myrtle beach. I plan on doing more work to get better milage, i.e. better cam and headers for...

    SRT seats and wiring

They are considerably taller, you cant use any the factory mounts. I had to make them as short as possible so I cut off the newer challenger seat mounting pads, its doesnt gain you much (maybe 3/8") but wanted as much room as I could get. I mounted my seats by running a bolt down through the...

    Cooling 505 stroker

I have a aluminum 3 core 26" champion radiator in my 68 coronet that has a 505. I have a 160 degree thermostat and depending on the day it struggles to get up to temp. I've actually had to cover half of it at times so my efi kicks into learning mode. I bought it from leadfoot racing.
