Hi all, I thought my engine had a tapping sound and decided to give a go on the lifters.
I removed all them, opened, cleaned, reassembled and submerged in oil and force it up and down to load it.
Put it back and sounded louder. Improved by the time I was driving but I don't think it made any...

Today I had the pleasure to try it after replacing ballast and adjusting choke plate.
Here's the result:
Ok, I measured and swapped the "looks new" ballast for an old one I had and it seems that the issue is solved. I'll try tomorrow or Saturday with the car dead cold and I'll post the result!

And I remember I was playing with the distributor one, just rotating it while trying to start and made no difference.
Yes, the 4 squirts were just to show there was enough fuel in the bowl, i usually don't do that. I'll check the spring.
As promised, but this time didn't even start. It usually starts at the end of the second attempt as mentioned before. This time I put more fuel than I usually do so maybe I flooded it a bit, who knows...

And like I said the result seems to be better that way but pressing the pedal before any attempt will give me the same or worst result.
