Fender tag, VIN and build sheet match. Body stamps do not

It's clearly a rebody. It's also not a pristine numbers matching restoration, so who cares and you haven't been ripped off. Enjoy the car. Just be sure to report the truth when you come to sell the car.

Anyone use the Glyptal paint inside an engine?

The factory never painted the inside of an engine. Why the F would do this? Leave it alone! To paint the inside of an engine is just ludicrous! The oil will flow back to pan just fine without painting. You would be far better off to change the oil and filter on a regular basis. Imagine...

    Hockey pucks???

Also, don't be stupid enough to disagree with that last post. You're risking your safety and your well being if you use a hockey puck for anything other than what it was designed for (ie. hockey). I have a friend who who owned a smart fortwo (no the names are not supposed to be capitalized)...

    Hockey pucks???

Hockey pucks are designed to be frozen then shot by a hockey stick at a goal net. Don't be stupid enough to use them for anything else...

How to tell if it is a true 69 Roadrunner

All Road Runners (note: two words, not one) are model RM. This thing is so modified, that it doesn't matter what it is. It is a waste of skin. Enjoy it or don't.

    Find of the century... '69 Charger - HEMI 4-spd - 15 miles

As usual, the chassis is completely incorrect. The underside of the car should be dove grey primer with body colour over spray along the sides and the rear of the body plus some in the transmission tunnel. This car is painted completely body colour on the underside. Looks nice, but absolutely...

72 Rallye Charger - opinions please

Lot's of guys make all kinds of changes for who knows what purpose. It's just fine just as it is. Why would you change it?

    Tools Explained

Once you get used to the Metric system, you'll realize that it is massively superior to either Imperial or US measurement. I am Canadian and we have been metric for some 45 years now. There are those who refuse to use the superior system, but they are slowly disappearing. The trick is to...

    I was hopeful…

You haven't said whether you have looked elsewhere for a build sheet. I tore my car down to a bare body shell for restoration. I have only ever found two build sheets. One was neatly folded, placed in a plastic sleeve and attached to the under side of the rear seat springs with a hog ring...

    Hose Clamp Question

Yes, they are called Corbin clamps. They are not affected by heat or cold but screw clamps are. Eventually screw clamps will loosen and they will leak. They need to be tightened on a regular basis. Use Corbin Clamp Pliers or risk your vision and your paint job. Even then, use safety...

    Coolest '66-'67 Charger Ever

It would cost a great deal of money to return this car to what it should be. What a sorry thing to do to an original HEMI car.

Whats everybody using in there solvent tank

I washed my '75 400 - 4 Barrel with Super Clean. The Super Clean was pretty friendly, but I did the entire job wearing heavy black nitrile gloves. Although a pair of gloves only lasted about four or five hours, a box of 50 gloves is about $25 Canadian. I then washed the engine with dish soap...

POLL: What Year RoadRunner is best

Yes, I'm familiar with all three of these cars, but none have their original drive trains, so who knows whether or not they are actually real. There's no way to be 100% confident about it.

POLL: What Year RoadRunner is best

I would also love a '72 440 6 Barrel, but I would first have to determine whether or not it was real!

POLL: What Year RoadRunner is best

I factory ordered a '75 which I still own today. It's a 400 4 Barrel, cat delete with a Sundance interior, currently under restoration. I'd love a '69 440 6 Barrel, but under the circumstances, I can vote for no other than the '75.
