I'm looking at swapping out my 60amp alternator (69 coronet) to a 75 or 100 amp. Is this just simply pull the other one out and plug the new one in or are there other things I need to know before doing this? Thx

Yes, factory set up. Ok I'll check but have no idea what I'm looking at, unless it's something obvious like disconnected wires, I'm not sure how to tell what's wrong.

69 Coronet. Heat/fans were working fine. I'd turn them on, they'd blow. Everything was right in the world. Then all of a sudden, when I try to turn it on, nothing. Fans won't blow. Fuse is fine. And that ends the extent of my knowledge in this area. Any ideas what went/is...

Switching out the 8 1/4 on my 69 Coronet to an 8 3/4 to prepare for a 500+hp motor upgrade. Does the 8 3/4 have to come out of a similar car or can any 8 3/4 be made to fit? New to the hobby so any direction is appreciated.
