Found the problem. Apparently the bolt that holds my brake caliper on backed out. Glad nothing worse happened.

Well I thought I got the correct replacement water pump from gates to replace the one on a 65 426. I ordered gates 42032 but the number of fins and fin direction. Back to the beginning.

Has anyone used these bolts for a water pump? Not sure if I want to use them with the nylon inserts as I am not familiar enough with them. The original bolt heads have worn down to the point that I don’t want to reuse them as I don’t want to strip the heads. This is on a 65 426 wedge.
