Beening a Air Force Brat growing up I traveled quite a bit...3 years in Panama Canal Zone, Then 2 years in Denver, CO/ Enid, OK/ Waco, TX/ 4 years in Ankara, Turkey then 2 years in Garden City Long Island and 2 years at McGuire, AFB in New Jersey. After graduating HS, I spent 2 tours in country in Vietnam (1st in Danang off loading ordnance and the 2nd tour in the I Corp with Marines/Navy & Army doing various diving jobs in the rivers in Northern South Vietnam...while in the military, I also spent some time in other Travel Hot Spots...Adak, Alaska (The end of the Aleutian Islands -running a diving locker, San Diego, CA Then to Philadelphia, PA/ Washington DC and finally Virginia Beach, VA
I married while in the Navy and had two children, one daughter (Christine) and a son (John Michael). My Ex wife just passed away on Christmas Eve while traveling on a 6 day cruise to the South and Central America...while my kids took me to Central Peru to clime Mache Pichu...great, but I couldn't breathe...too high altitude for me...
