Looking for info on this Dart color code

No way to be certain without seeing the fender tag, but I'd bet that "WW" or Polar White is the actual color. Lighting in those tents, camera settings, computer monitor settings can all make colors look different than we expect.

    Dwell Variance with Vacuum Advance

When testing dwell on my 318 poly, the dwell does not change from the 30* spec when revved to 1500rpm with the vacuum advance disconnected. The dwell does drop, from 30* to 20*, when revved to 1500 with the vacuum advance hooked up. The factory manual simply states that the dwell should...

Check here http://www.1962to1965mopar.ornocar.com/techstuff.html About a third of the way through this page there is a mention of a different five-button controller that can be adapted to work, and links to scans of a magazine article detailing how to fix original controllers...

'64 Polara side trim paint color/ fender tag code WWY

A while back I posted about stainless side trim and whether the recessed area was originally painted. http://www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum/showthread.php?57526-64-Polara-trim-should-it-be-painted The takeaway was that yes, the recess was originally painted, and could have been keyed...

Anyone used Generalspring for their leaf springs

I ordered a set of springs from General about a year ago for my '64 four door. Originals were five leaf but all I could find from General or anyone else was six leaf. They bolted right up, no problems. Fit and finish were fine. Smooth transaction, quick shipping. Seems like I heard that...

64 Dodge Polara 4 door options?

Yes, the Polara four door was available as either a hardtop or a sedan. Here are a couple pages from the 64 dealer book. Any four door hardtop would have been a Polara as that wasn't available in a 330 or 440. Although the four door sedan was available in all three lines.

64 Polara trim- should it be painted?

Thanks for all the replies. Sounds like we've conclusively determined that the wide side moulding was painted from the factory. Polara 500s had machine-turned trim while regular Polaras had painted trim. I'd like to know what determined what color the trim was painted (was it a special...

64 Polara trim- should it be painted?

Can anyone tell me if the 1.5" wide side trim should be painted down the middle? There are just as many web pics showing painted trim as showing not painted. If it should be painted, what would be an appropriate paint to use on the chrome? Does the color of the painted trim depend on the...
