    67 Coronet engine question

Yes I can do that as soon as it gets home. The owner of the car suddenly passed away and his widow is selling it so the registration is currently in motor vehicle limbo land

    67 Coronet engine question

The car actually spent most of its life in Ontario where you’re located but purchased new in Manitoba

    67 Coronet engine question

I wish it was a 500, but is just the 440 trim level. It is a Canadian car but definitely not the 318 poly. It’s also possible that the engine has been swapped but current owner of 30 years says the motor is untouched.

    67 Coronet engine question

    That’s the thing, 67 is kind of a swing year. If it was a 66 I’d definitely say it was a 273, 68 would be 318 but I’m unsure where it’s a 67

    67 Coronet engine question

Just put a down payment on a 67 convertible that I stumbled across. It’s a 2 owner car, unrestored. One re paint and new top was put on in the 90s but overall it’s a very original car with a small block…. So would it be a 318 or 273?

    More cam? Change my mind

I did a similar build about a year ago using those type of pistons. Using a .484 cam there was only about .095" of clearance with a .040" head gasket... so pretty much at the limit. Bottom line is those pistons are not good for a performance build for this reason. I only ended up using them...

    More cam? Change my mind

Are the pistons cut with valve reliefs? If not, then I would not gamble with more cam.

    Harley goes electric

They are just trying to cover all of their bases by appealing to the next big thing. Personally, I’m not a fan but I think it’s smart on their end. Around here, Harley’s are more popular than ever and a co worker was telling me when he was at bike week in Laconia NH a couple weeks ago, 98% of...

You can put in a 318 but after the first drive or 2, you’ll wished you had gone bigger

Let's say you just graduated with your ME degree, what car do you buy?

It depends on a lot of things.... like how far he will have to travel for work, if he is the kind of guy that will need a truck, will be living at home or moving out on his own... the list could go on and on. But before making any big purchase, I would make sure that I had a solid and secure...

Can a 440 block from an old LP generator be used in a car?

A lot of times, big gen sets like this are only used during power outages or other emergencies. It may be very low hours
