Ya, It would be cheaper and more reliable getting a QT housing, EZ-TCU and a 4l80e. Personally I would NEVER put a 4l60/4l65 in a car. I have seen 4l60s break way to often and catastrophically even under just 400hp. I just see no point in putting a trans in a car that might break from hard...
