B and RB engines are all the same when it comes to plug remove/install. TTI headers are way over priced and not worth it. 1962 to date the best header for performance and plug install/remove on B, RB engines are Hooker super comp.

How much do you want for the car?

Before I went nuts with my 73, 318 Charger I ran a 70 stock 340 cam. It had great throttle response, and I picked up 4mpg. Everything else was bone stock for over 30 years.

You need to check your floats. It sounds like one of them is full of gas loading it down. In turn draining the carb at shut down. If you can soldier its an easy fix. Just melt some of the old soldier where the leak is. Drain the float and re- soldier.

Replace the coil and fix the problem. While your at it make sure the wiring connection at the firewall going inside is clean and tight. If this fails replace the timing chain. I'm assuming you re-checked your plug wires and made sure its wired right.

I run 295/50/15's on 10". 4.50 backspace wheels on my 73.

It wasn't the guy installed a factory OE set up.

Stroke it to a 391 and with the RHS heads, your cam a 2500 stall converter You'll a nice 400 horse thats easy to live with.
