With the timing Mark at "0" the piston was not at the top. We were using a breaker bar on the crank to move the damper to "0" while my cousin checked the number 1 cylinder.

One more thing, running HEI module if that matters.

Good afternoon folks. Having a timing issue that hopefully is an easy fix. Trying to dial in the timing on my car and at TDC the timing is at 40 degrees advanced before it's running good and smooth. But at TDC the timing mark is no where near "0", as a matter of fact it is almost 1" below zero...
