How good is the Proform 440-425 ignition box

I have a 1970 Road Runner, with an original late 1970s electronic ignition upgrade. The ignition worked perfectly, but all of the resin has leaked out of a working blue ignition box and I am wondering who has the best ignition box to replace it with. Or does anybody know of a restoration...

1970 RR grill trim thats around light bezel and grill

Mine stainless trim kept popping off as well. I just gently squeezed the trim a bit when it popped off so it would take a better bite on the plastic. Seems to be working.

Whoa.....have you priced car batteries lately?

You can thank the EPA. Lead is no longer being mined, smelted, or recycled in the US. That means all lead is coming from off-shore. Those batteries you turn in at the store when you buy a new one used to be recycled in the US, now they go in a container, get shipped to who knows where and...

The springs were there to stop brake drum vibration which is the source of brake squeal, kinda like putting a finger on bell to stop it from ringing.

Engine stalling when I put the lights on

This was a common problem back in the day. Your idle speed is too low. Start car set hot idle to specs in Park, put car in drive, adjust idle with headlights to whatever it was in drive with no headlights on, problem solved. You will notice that in drive with no headlights your idle speed...

    I KNEW it......

Here's my take; you've have this so advanced society that suffered a cataclysmic event that wiped them out, that in order for the planet to survive these geniuses sent out survival parties all over the world and we are the result. We would still be banging rocks together if not for these...
