Mine stainless trim kept popping off as well. I just gently squeezed the trim a bit when it popped off so it would take a better bite on the plastic. Seems to be working.

Went to order a pair of new head gaskets for the HEMI and so many thickness options. Anybody know what the thickness was of the original OEM gaskets? Also how are the new composition gaskets compared to the OEM steel shim? TIA

Did you just change the fluid? Maybe you are not seeing it on the stick because it is not on the stick? Maybe you need to add more.

This was a common problem back in the day. Your idle speed is too low. Start car set hot idle to specs in Park, put car in drive, adjust idle with headlights to whatever it was in drive with no headlights on, problem solved. You will notice that in drive with no headlights your idle speed...
