Even maybe a photoshop job? I love the way the '69 Charger 500's look with the slick back glass, with no wing. I'd love to see what one looked like with a bird/daytona nose on it but still no wing.... Am I crazy?:sign4:

Oddly enough, the original Daytona design from the wind tunnel had no wing. That was the lowest drag design...

I wonder how many of the Show original Super Charger's were built....I saw this one at the California Fall Fling in 1988.

When i was a kid, there was a yellow Superbird at the local dragstrip with a road runner front end and no wing. It was cool looking with just the window plug. Unfortunately, no pictures.

Back in around 1976 I was riding with my dad In San Gabriel cal., and came up behind a Charger, Kind of modified, It looked strange couldn't put my finger on it. when i got home I finally realized it was a daytona with the nose off and the wing off, I couldn't understand the holes in the top of the 1/4 panels then it clicked....a year later I stumbled across a Daytona in Whittier Cal and bought it for 3000. bucks 440 auto, sold it to some guys from Culver City cal in 1979 never saw it again, have a clone now.
