I'm starting an earnest search for an early Mopar. I have spent alot of time trying to decide what cars I would most enjoy owning and the following list is what i have come up with:

'71-'74 Charger
'73-'74 Roadrunner
'70-'72 Dart or Demon
'71-'72 Roadrunner
'76-'78 Roadrunner

If anyone knows of any of these cars that are REASONABLE and in decent condition, please let me know. I will say, I have been rather discouraged by some of the potential cars people have contacted me about. I'm not going to say here how much I have to spend on a car simply ebcause what I'm willing to pay will depend on the car, condition, location, etc.
I am a mechanic so I do not mind buying a restorable car. However, there is a difference between restorable and beyond repair. I am not interested in a car that needs a bunch of frame work, the roof replaced, or other excessive work. I'm also not into clones. If the car is not an original, authentic Roadrunner, please do not try passing it off as one. Same thing with a Charger. If it's not a Rallye, then don't try psssing it off as something it's not.
I'm looking for a car for a resonable, fair price. I'm not looking to get a car for nothing, but I'm not going to be taken advantage of either. Not trying to sound arrogant here, just trying to be honest with everyone so we all know what's expected.
Please contact me off the boards, either through PM or e-mail with anything you might have that would interest me.

Thanks!!!

Hey Bri., don't know what you've found or what kind of money we're talking about, but i have a 71 Demon on FABO, very decent car, and a 72 Charger SE right here on FBBO, let me know if it's something you can use.

Hey Bri: I know where your coming from on the prospects but i guess we have to put up with em when we're looking because we're looking for someone selling. I do have a 76 i think, Volare' RR with a 360 and a factory sunroof. This car is missing the spoilers and ground effects but for the most part is a good project. I can send pics and i also have seen a really nice one awhile back that was well priced and to show you i'm a nice guy, i'll try and hunt it up. He may still have it. Oh $1500 for mine. I'll PM you so you can read this. I'm in West Plains, Mo.

I think that style of RR is an F body

I have a good start on a project 69' GTX. I know you did not list that car but it would be a much more rewarding car at the end. It is listed under B bodies for sale.--tx--and good luck--05 Harley
