I think it's high.
Send him a message and offer him $9K and see what he does.

i went and saw the car in person. major project but very clean body. no fender tag, no buildsheet. 1976 motorhome 440. no working instrumentation. subaru radiator. bad paintjob in the wrong color.

i was taken by how clean it was and thought it would be worth a restoration at the right price. i was the high bidder in his first auction at 10,600. i called and offered him 13000 and he was insulted. he told me 18000 and relisted.

he sold it a couple days into the second auction at, i'm assuming, more than the 13000 i offered.

Thanks for the feed back mate. I couldnt imagine a subaru radiator keeping a big block cool enough? Bizzar! Unless subaru's in the U.S had something bigger than a two litre engine?

What I don't understand is that if you're selling something for big bucks, why not take the time to write a more descriptive ad with useful information, and for cryin' out loud...check your spelling! It doesn't raise my confidence wondering about whom I'm buying from. Just my two cents.

It always better to see for yourself. I bought my coronet on eBay, and it was local. I talked to the guy prior and ask him a ton of questions ( history, what been done, needs to be done, rust)
I didn't get to look at it due to the bidding was almost over, I got mine for a third of what they want for the one your looking at. I was fortunate where the guy was right on everything about the car. Now I have seen where one guy paid 8,000 for a Super bee with no engine and transmission, got it shipped from Ohio, and it ws a total rust bucket.
