Guys,

I have a MSD 6AL...........a couple of weeks ago the box left me broke down
I did all the spark checks and its was the box, so instead of waiting two weeks to get it repaired I bought a new one, Installed it and it worked great for 1 hour.............And the new one left me broke down.

Do I just have bad luck or is it installed wrong, I checked all the connections and the only thing that I can see that might be wrong is the red main power is connected to starter block instead of to the battery and ground is to body not to battery. I am going to send both units back to MSD but I have to figure out why this has happened............Input please!!!!!

Thanks again gang,

Butch

The 6A in my Duster was installed wrong by the previous owner, and had the main power hooked directly to the alternator. Once I reconfigured everything hooking the main power and grounds to the battery, I had a high speed miss. But it went away and hasn't returned. Just drove it 1200+ miles without a hitch
