Hey folks, i want to order a set of wheel for the car I am trying to get redone for my son and I wanted some no crap, what will fit wheel/tire sizes.

As you see in the attached pic, the rear wheels sit too far out and they have old N50-15's on them. the fronts sit way in and I hat ethis look.

i want the rears back under the 1/4's and the fronts moved out toward the fenders more.

I wanted to order them today as I want them here for x-mas.

I guess I could do a bunch of measuring tonight, but wanted to see who already had combos and my search on here fell short.

I am thinking maybe a 15X8 wheel with 4.5bs??? all the way around?

I am guessing since it is a 73 it should be the 5X4.5 bolt pattern. I could check that pretty easy.

Thanks

I think if you do a search on this subject, you will find several threads asking the same thing

Well, guess I am not good with the local search engine, because I found a few (mentioned that above), but was hoping for more,. Got answers I was looking from another board though so I am good.

thanks

A couple guys on moparts.com gave some help.

I ended up with 15X7 front 15X8 rear 275's on back and 255's on front. looks good to me.

will find out if i ever get it running. LOL

OH DUDE!! When I saw the first picture in this thread I said "man, a set of the new torque thrusts would look sweeeeeet on a white car!" My chin is now on the ground! Every now and then, you run into a car with rims that are just PERFECT for it. Tell us about the brand of rims, and the aspect ratios [70's, 60's?].

hey guys, thanks for the comments. I will tell you that this car is mostly for my son and he picked these wheels out after scanning summits website. At first I said hmmmmmmm I am not so sure about those.

But I went with and and for the price I couldn't be happier. I love them on the car.

the rears are 15X8 with 4.5bs and the front are 15x7 with 3.75bs.
rear tires 275/60-15 and the fronts are 255/60-15.

Here is the link http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-141-5865GM0/

I am sure they aren't the best quality wheel, but for the price I figured we would give them a shot. When i had the tires mounted, the most any wheel/tire took 2.0 ounces.
