Hello all,
Greazer Lou here. 33 years old, ive lived in Eagle Rock (California) my whole life. Been into the Big 3 (and anything fast really) ever since I first learned about cars as a little kid. I like my cars how I like my women... old and fast!!! And as the years have gone by, ive come to be a die hard Mopar guy mainly because of the awesome engineering/parts interchangablility that was built into these cars from the factory (does anyone remember the Green Brick that ran in the One Lap of America? Remarkably fast for as stock as it was... and shaped!!!!), and the fact that there arent really that many of us out there (which is good for a few reasons imo). With Mopars, you can have the speed, good handling and/or braking by dipping right into Ma Mopars factory parts bin IF youve done your homework!!! The end result of that is with some research and hard work at the bone yards and swap meets you can run around in a Mopar that can tear it up just as good as the other guys without having to rely so heavily on the aftermarket (to a point of course) which gives you a real sense of satisfaction, pride of ownership, etc. I just feel like the GM/Ford guys have lost some of that over the years and its kind of a shame, I think. Anyway, enough with the commentary, i joined this forum because I just picked up a 66 Coronet (original 273 car, I got it with a 2-barrell 318 though) that I plan on making into an awesome daily driver... build thread/pics to come soon. Ive only ever had big block A-bodies over the years (2 pretty spartan Dusters) and now im older and ready for something a little different (power steering, heat AND ac, wipers and a radio I can actually hear are gonna be nice!!!) It needs a lot of everything so ill definitely be on here a lot, scavenging parts & knowledge... Later!

Welcome aboard.Check out 318 opinions keep or toss in 71-74 Mopars
