Hey guys I'm wondering what you guys use for car covers. I'm looking for one but don't need a show car cover just something that gets the job done and doesn't scratch the paint. I found some 3-layer ones for 50-70bucks just wondering if there are any special ones to check out?
Thanks,
Nick

I asked the same question, so there's a thread on the subject..........somewhere.

Anyway, I wound up getting one for the Duster from someone on ebay. They were great and got it to me fast.

It's a bit big, but it's a "one size fits all for this size car" kind of cover, and would rather it be a bit big, than fit like shoving it in to a balloon. Other than that, I like it just fine. I went to Wallyworld and bought a pair of locks and a cable to lock it on the car. That cost less than buying the one you can get with the cover.

For years I was stuck on the expensice California Car cover. Well after 2 of them just got deteriorated fast from the elements I took a shot and bought one of those Ebay ones and for 1/4 of the price they have outlasted the $250.00 California cover.
I think I paid like $50.00 on ebay.
Just do a search on the model and year of your car on ebay and search car covers. You'll really like them.I';m going to buy another one for my race car.

My wife got me one at advanced auto. Had it on my 69 barracuda for at least 3 yrs. the first year outside. It was a one size deal but was pretty good. It would keep the car dry in a downpour
