Hey there everybody! I recently aquired a 1972 triple black big block charger s.e. I can't seem to find any info on the rarity though. I haven't seen any others (especially a big block). the car is in great condition. seats, dash, body is all great. any idea on how rare this car is? or how much it could be worth?

Welcome fellow Detroiter. post the first half of the vin # and I could tell you how many were produced, also need to know if manual or auto car. Total production of the `72 Charger SE was 22,430, but 9,812 were 318 cars.

Welcome, have any pictures? 400 or 440? Love the 71-72's

welcome,i have a 72 charger rallye that was a factory 400 auto which according to galen glovier was also a dealer optioned showroom car.

Thanks everybody for the hemi welcome wagon :) Hey detmatt1 the first half of the vin is wh23m2g1. the car was a 400 but is gone. in it's place is now a 1971 440. the car is auto with center console and buckets seats. woodgrain everywhere. I lucked out because the original owner had taken every part out that held fluids and a bunch of others to perserve them. most every part is there and in great condition-master cylinder, brake calipers, trim, gas tank-even the brake pads ect. ect.... oh also everything that was taken out is bagged and tagged. every wire is tagged as well to make putting together easy. it needs a little work but at the same time is in great condition for sure. thanks again everone for your interest

welcome fellow michigander.
