Membership Drive

I was one of the first 20 members in FABO. TRUST ME, it was waaaaayyyy better back when membership was low!

Whitey, I made this VERY POINT in the second post of this thread...but no one wants to hear that...from either of us I suspect...

Were you part of the original group that kicked in $50 or so each to keep it running?
I don't recall that...I was never asked for $$$.

Hello...here on and off. Also doing research on a Camaro site si I can start fixing my wife's 88 IROC. Now I have to learn GM stuff and mess with computer controlled engines.

I just helped a buddy build a 383 SBC stroker that went into an '88 IRCO this past summer. We reused the 5.0 TPI but with larger injectors/throttle body and had a new chip made to work with the 383 and its fairly rowdy camshaft. I'm no pro when it comes to these things but do have some obviously recent experience, which included tracking down all of the needed info on the web. Let me know if I can be of assistance.

Me too - I think...

Any new developments with "IT"?
I pulled the seats out of the A12 on Saturday...looking for a broadcast sheet...no luck...holding out hope for the top of the glovebox...or any place else for that matter...LOL! I'd like to go ahead and get the new seat covers put on while they're out but the CFO is fighting me...afraid I'll somehow trash the seats before I get the rest of it done...stay tuned...

Just sent you a pm. But yeah, I just took "IT" on a 100+ mile cruise with the club. No probs, if you don't count finding the ignition key doesn't fit either door.

No prob. I just joined another for a brand "F" I just bought. All they do is talk in acronyms as far as anything on the cars are concerned.

Another post from Mr. Perfect trying to belittle someone I see.

Apparently there isn't much goin' on right now, so i"ll be back later.

Here's a piece of information for ya. The gauges in 87-88 Mark VII, Tbird/Cougar, and (probably) Mustang will read incorrectly with age. This manifests itself when the headlights are turned on. The problem is caused by a bad ground to the IP and is fixed simply by regrounding the #15 wire (orange).

How's that.

That is some great information, thanks. Something that i had to do today, did you know that when you replace a starter in a 1993 pontiac grand prix, when you put the new starter in you have to shim it. wasup with that? that was bogus! but i finished the job and it works great. check back later.
