I’m looking at picking up a 2 row 26” radiator part # 2898069 on the cheap for my 68 charger R/T. According to the part number book a friend has this radiator is for a 383 with AC either trans and a 3:55 gear. Will this be ok for a 440, no AC, 4spd, & a Dana 3:54? If not then what would be the correct configuration for my set-up? Car is set-up for a 26” core. Any help would be great!

That radiator would work fine for your car but that is only part of the equation to running cool. Don't forget the shroud, the proper fan spacing so that your distance between the fan and the radiator is correct (I think it should be an inch) and the seal mounted on the bottom side of the hood that seels it to the top yoke of the core support, proper thermostat, good water pump and strong hoses that won't collapse under negative pressure. There is a great Radiator shop on Woodward north of 9 Mile in Ferndale, 248-541-9688.

OK cool (no pun intended)… :head_smack: I’ll keep all the other info to the side and use it when I’m at the appropriate point. I know of that radiator shop in Ferndale and will be using him to give the radiator the once over. Thanks a bunch!
