What other bucket seat assemblies have identical frames/rails/mounts as those for the 69 Coronet/Bee. It doesn't matter to me if the pads or covers are different, just bare seat cores.

I have been getting some bad info and not sure what the reality is now. (A reference of mine claimed that the older C-Body buckets were the same... Nope.)

'68 and '69 A-body bucket seat frames/foam are also the same. However, the seat tracks/mounts will be different.

What would be different with a 1970 bench or bucket compared to a 68/69?
70 bucket went to the high back style. The 70 bench has the seat back release up high on the side of the seat back, 68/9 has it down at the hinge. Also 68 through 1/1/69 head rests were a options, after 1/1/69 head rests were std. on all seats. The 68/9 bench head rest is the taller all vinyl the 70 bench is the shorter with the chrome strip.

I have a 68 bench seat & it doesnt have the locks for the seat back..from what ive bene told..68-69-70 all bolt up & appear the same except seat back release..68 didnt have it..69 at bottom corners & 70 on side of seat back..not sure but I believe this to be correct
