What would you do with this car....as I previously stated in another post, this car is an all original unmolested, unrestored car with 88,000 documented miles and all dealer documentation including the window sticker. Problems: AC delete and 225 slant six motor. It is Aztec Gold Metallic exterior with a black vinyl interior.

If this were your car what would you do?

Leave it as is?

Make it a cop car clone?

Repaint?

Customize?

While making it a cop car clone would be cool (that's a lot of "C"s) I think I'd leave it alone, and just drive it

I would drive it for awhile, but while you're driving it have an engine in the works.

If I was you i'd go for a big block. maybe even a stroker.
but if you do the 360 build it for torque.

Kinda depends on how much you like 4 doors. Honestly, putting a new (different anyway) motor in it will almost always lead to a new suspension, new wheels, new tires, new interior etc. etc. and in the end, along with your now flat bank account, you'll still have a 4 dr.

maybe build up the six then?

If I keep it as is, I am definetely going to beef up the six a bit, I would deck the head
.100, upgrade the cam, and install 1.70 intake and 1.44 exhaust valves as well as port the head, gasket match etc. I am also trying to locate a super six setup to swap the 1 barrel to a 2 barrel. Get some headers from Clifford Performance as well. You can really build up a six with a little ingenuity.

I mentioned the 360 because I have a '74 360 laying around collecting dust...so at least it would be year correct.

what about supercharging the six??

I need more input, I am going to present the "findings" to the wife so I can get her off my back about what SHE thinks needs to be done with it.

I'd do two things:

1) I'd leave it as is and drive the wheels off of it.

2) I'd make a small sacrifice to the Mopar Gods to thank them for not making the thing G8 Deep Sherwood Poly with a green interior like so many (too many) of them were...

Wow, I really didnt expect everyone to vote for leaving it as is....I am surprised =)

that better???? lmao

:rolling: :rolling: :rolling:  Not EXACTLY what I had in mind when I said I needed more input.. :edgy: ..or when I was surprised everyone said to leave it as is.....but that was a damn funny visual I got reading that :tongueflap:

unless i planned to use it as a daily
i wouldn't touch it and sell it and buy a 2dr one
a 4dr is nothing buy a money pit..

Four doors can be a lot of fun, cheap to buy and can be made into a real sleeper.

As time goes on you see a lot less of them, so it is good to have some people interested in them. I like all B body four doors, 75-78's look especially fine.

:rolling::rolling: Someone has actually voted for cutting the roof off and painting it green with red stripes:rolling::rolling::rolling::rolling:

leave it as is and drive it until the wheels fall off it.

Leave it and drive it like ya stole it.

I bet ya get tired of it and park it in a few months. Then you can say I'm glad I didn't waste a lot of time and money messing with the motor or paint. Time and money better spent else where.
IF 6 months from now ya gotta clone it into a poice cruiser or paint it or drop a v8 go ahead.

I would either:

-leave it alone (or perhaps put some body colored wheels and dog dishes on it), or

-go the entire B/W cop car look (but only if you were going to go all the way with it).
