I am going to use some after market gauges in my 63 Polara vert in conjunction with my 500 stroker.I am curious on who has some after market gauges in their 62 65s and how they look. I am especially interested in what anyone has done with a 63 DODGE setup.

I used new gauges in my 70 Cuda vert and prefer new stuff.

PLEASE do not cut up your beautiful dash!!!!! It's only original once. Man I hate to see people do this to these dashes.

I made a SS cluster that sits under the dash and rests on the floor. It is mounted with 2 screws that are part of the heater core assembly. I wired it so that I can pull the entire thisng out with 1 quick disconnect. THat way - when I go to a show she looks completely original. WHen I hit the track - I plug the assemble back in and away I go. The assy includes, Oil Pres, Oil temp, water temp. trans temp, and amps.

If you are interestd I can get some better pictures.

Here's mine for now. One of these days I'm going to make a new dash panel and roll all these gages into it to eliminate the gage bar.

Im not going to cut anything up.I was thinking more along the lines of removing the dash insert and building a new insert based on the shape of the dash and building gauges into that. And if that wont due, then I will find a parts dash and build something.

i'm really liking the s & w vintage gauge look. they are reproduced and look like a true vintage gauge should look like in a early b body.

I made a radio delete plate since no one seems to reproduce one for the '64 330. I'll probably polish it a bit more but it turned out not bad.

My guages are volts, water, oil and fuel (with an isolator of course) and I made a custom aluminum backing plate for the factory pods. It keeps things looking more like an every day dash without a ton of guages hanging on every panel. Just my personal preference.
