Which trans kit?

Being that I have to drop my trans pan on my A904, I want to put a shift kit in it but my question is which one.

TF-TC (62-UP) TransAction Kit (Fairbanks 10430 )

or

B&M 10225 - B&M Shift Improver Kit

Anyone used either one and what is your opinion.

Neither.

Transgo TF-2 is a much more comprehensive kit.

any of the three are fine.. it is truly dependent upon your driving attributes and how you plan on using your vehicle. i have used all three and have not found a truly noticeable shift difference between them.

Maybe you won't notice a difference in shifts but Trans-Go includes things like a valve that you put in so fluid fills the coverter even in park (usually have to kick it in neutral for a bit with the stock valvebody if the car hasn't been run for a while and the front seal is wore.) You don't get that with the others! It's called a "no yo-yo" for some reason...

i know what it comes with.. but if you are first timer and do not want to go through all the drilling of the valve body and such and just want a firmer shift.. then the b&m is a low cost, easy install that will perform just as well as the others.

people dont buy these kits for their "pumps fluid while in park" ability.. they buy them for a firmer shift that gets them a "chirp" from 1-2. just saying.

i dont let me cars sit around long enough to worry about converter drainback
