Hello, I have a 1966 plymouth satellite with a 318 poly , I want to swap in a 5.2 magnum (untill I can get the poly rebuilt ) is there any known problems I will run into, I have been told it will bolt up to my to my trans and fit like a la 318.I just dont see or hear of anyone swaping magnums any help would be appreciated, thanks

The Magnum engine came in 2 sizes, the 5.2 (318) is internal balanced and the 5.9 (360) is an external balance. This will bolt up and go for the most part. If your going to use the computer with the engine, you'll need to mount/ground and power it along with a fuel pump up grade for the FI.

Running the heater lines will require a bit more line than normal. IDK about the rad hoses though. Depends on where your poly has them run, but theres also flexable hose for this problem.

I plan to use a mopar electronic ignition (wich I will use when I get the poly done) and a Edilbrock 4 barrell magnum manifold and a road demon carb. I hope to find a 4 barrell manifold for the poly (if I hit the lottery) and still use the carb. I plan on using the serpintine belts. Another thing I have the power steering pump from the truck, will this work with my power steering ? Thanks for the reply.
