ElectricFawn sounds like a great find, family history to boot. Good luck. Beep Beep! Budnicks

Welcome to FBBO..Sorry to hear about your dad...many condolence's from my little corner of the globe..cool he at least got to see the pics of it before his passing.

sorry about your dad. i would definitely check out madden and ryan body works in radnor PA. thier a topnotch restoration shop with a quality price that will do every thing down to a nut and bolt resto or just looking and running good.

Thanks everyone..I will be getting some pics up soon and I am in the process of narrowing down the selections for the restoration. It's going to be bad ***. I am really looking forward to this.

Welcome and I too am sorry for the passing of your father. I think it is quite unusual for a car to stay in the same family for all those years and it is good to hear that you are going to breathe life back into a car that obviously meant a lot to him.
Concerning a quality restoration facility....my 69 RR was just completed by Jacobs & Angelly Restorations and is absolutely flawless. Their attention to detail far exceeded my expectations, but that is what they are known for. Their cars have won Gold at the Mopar Nats for quite a few years in a row. Their quality is second to none and their labor rates are VERY competitive. Paul's # is 812-963-5219 and he is located in Evansville, IN.
How about some pictures of the car?

Well done, and no better way to remember your Dad! He would have been so happy.

My own father was a mad American car nut, he had them all, Buicks, Dodge's, Cadillacs and so on, sadly he passed just 6 months before I and my brother both achieved our dreams of buying American cars, we missed the opportunity to show him the cars but they will be permanent reminders of our dad.

You now have something that was his, that will stay with you forever! Cherish it, die with it, and leave it to your son/daughter and always remind them why its so important to the family.

Good luck with the resto!!

Sorry to hear about your dad.I'm sure he must have been happy to just see pics of his old ride.I just bought a 70 RR 383-4spd air grabber...and my kids love the car!It sure would be nice to pass it down to them in the years to come...have fun with your new/old car...cheers

i'm a little late chiming but but welcome.sorry to read your dad's passing, but i hope you will have the same excitment about driving the car that once belonged to him as much as i'm sure he did.

did you decide to change the color or is that primer in all the photo's?

Welcome back, ElectricFawn. Looks like you've been busy the past couple of years! Nice progress, thanks for the pictures.

If your dad had made it to see the car, would have been the best story ever posted on this site! At least he would have known the car was going to come home but I reckon just seeing his son's enthusiasm would have been reward enough for him.

I know you'll do him and mum proud with the car! Good luck!!
